As always we do our best to keep
everyone informed of the latest scams to try and keep everyone a little
safer. Just the other day we had a friend tell us he had seen the
following scam on the news several times, and a client the very same day told us the same thing.
Here is what happens: You will receive a a short phone call. The caller will ask you a question that will lead you to say “yes”, which is what they are
seeking. The caller/scammer will record this. They can then edit the recording to sign you up for various services and such.
The best defense for this type of scam is not to say "yes" to strangers on the phone. The
world becomes an uglier place each day with the scammers and other
criminals. Just stay safe and try to stay alert.
